Reservation
I was booking a 7 day all inclusive package to Punta Cana, DR. I was making the payment with 2 credit cards.
But it seems like only one form of payment went through. At this point not sure what happen led to my reservation.

Instead rebate money's for my cancelation my reservation for Hotel week before my trip they give me credit it's not acceptable and I very unhappy and never will have dill with Cheap Caribbean

We paid $3260 for the all inclusive ( flights/hotel ) vacation packages. The airline company ( Frontier ) doesn't have any info that CheapCarribean ever ordered airline tickets ( a month a half after we paid online).
They explained that we're not getting a confirmation from Frontier since there are no tickets.
The CheapCarribean customer service is a joke - they keep you on hold for 2+ hours and then they are telling that your tickets are "not guaranteed ( ??!)" despite we paid $3260. CheapCarribean ruined our vacation and now we have to recover our money with our credit card issuer or approach a small court.

I had to contact customer service today because a reservation of ours would not go through. We spent six hours yesterday on the phone.
Someone canceled our reservation then today I called back and spoke to someone who was unwilling to help for over an hour. The gentleman transferred me to Debbie Strauss. She was absolutely phenomenal and even though our vacation was not able to be booked, she did an impeccable job. I was ready to walk away from cheap Caribbean.
We have booked six vacations in the last three years between either Apple or cheap Caribbean. I wish you had more customer service representatives that were like Debbie.

Verified ReviewerIf zero stars were an option id give Cheap Caribbean a -5 stars. Almost 10 hours on hold to fix their mistake and they make it sound like they did me a favor.
My issue revolves around a reservation I made for a recent trip, and the challenges I faced while trying to resolve it with the customer service team. I spent over
nine hours on the phone attempting to address the matter, which is an unacceptable amount of time for a customer to invest in resolving an issue.
What further
exacerbated my frustration was the lack of any call back as promised on more than one occasion or the resolution of Cheap Caribbean "purchased" the seats for
us. NO they reserved the seats we booked that we were unable to secure because of a mistake on their end!

Resort can't confirm reservation
We have booked several trips with Cheap Caribbean and have mostly been satisfied however this trip was girls trip and when we arrived to our resort they could not find our reservation, panic set in they would not allow us to enter the resort until they had our confirmation # so I could not call out on my phone until I registered there # again panic. Once I was able to get through to them the problem was solved however we paid for 2 double beds and got a king size supposed to be an upgrade for us it was not. We were just excited to get into the Resort

Yalls website told me I needed a valid driver license/Id and so did the boarding pass for carnival cruise but they wouldn't let me on cruise ship without a birth certificate. Now I am being told I can't even get a refund.
I am so angry about this situation. I should get full refund I was forced not to get on the cruise ship cause I didn't have "proper" documentation.

User's recommendation: I have always used Cheap Caribbean but I’m in need of resolving this matter before I start my travel ratings!
Charged change fees for 4 people not 2. Land only
I booked a hotel stay last week in Mexico for next year, 7 days, starting April 21, 2024. We booked flights separately and I could not find any inbound flights to our destination on the date booked but found flights for April 24, 2024.
So, I wanted to bump the reservation from April 21 to April 24, everything else in the reservation remained the same. I was told that a simple 3 day date change for next year would be 50$ per person, 100$ for two people. I had to make the change. Got a new itinerary, which stated 25$ cancellation/change fee per person and charged me for 4 people in the reservation to bring the cost to 100$.
I called them asking why they charged me for 4 people and that the new booking itinerary sent said a 25$ change fee per person and that they listed 4 people on my reservation and charged me double.
I got no good explanation for this and was told it was an internal error in their system but the price was correct. And I should accept that why?

Trying to change a letter in last name. It wasnt my fault it got spelled wrong it was there representative that spelled it wrong
Horrible trip tulum
My customer service representative was very nice and understanding and I believe did all he could. However unfortunately cheap Caribbean still has not reached out in any way to resolve our issues while away on vacation In another country.
Unfortunately After being a repeat customer and using cheap Caribbean for the 3rd time, this will definitely be our last time to book a vacation with cheap Caribbean. :(

Refund
My trip on 8/18/2023 to Dominican/ Punta Cana was cancelled due to bad weather. They told me it would take 25 days to get my money back and it's been over a month already still no funds back into my account..
Cheap Caribbean has been given me the round around and i'm just pissed that i'm paying interest on a credit card that cheap caribbean is holding my money on.
Based on this SOUR experience i would NEVER book again with them. They are eager to take your money but when it's time to give it back it's an issue.

I booked a trip for three people to the Dominican Republic( punta cana). Unfortunately, My Son Guisnaie St.Fleur Jr.
could not travel because of the Department of States Passport delays. Although I applied for his Passport 3 months ago, I did not receive it. I called Cheap Caribbean on July 29 to modify the reservation for two people. However, the representative of Cheap Caribbean who modified the reservation told me that I will receive $900 credit for the air fare, also some credits for the hotel.
I was waiting for the email confirmation of the credits, but I did not receive it. I tried to reach the Caribbean from the Dominican Republic, it was impossible. Since I came from the Dominican Republic, I spent hours calling ; no one could help me.
So, I would like to receive my credit confirmation for my next trip. Thanks for your attention, I am looking forward to your reply.

Good morning.
My name is Irene nunez . I had a trip to Cabo San Lucas set for 3/20-3/23 to stay at the riu palace , with swim up room .
I received an email on 2/28 that said i would be receiving important travel documents shortly and that I would have to print them out and take them with me to the airport.
I did not receive my boarding pass and travel documents and I got worried.
I looked up the airline and my husbands name was misspelled, i thought they would not let him on the plane as the name has to be spelled exactly like it is in the ID.
The airline had his name as Vincentt.
so last night I called the customer service number at 7:02 pm and it said to call back during normal business hours. I tried to edit my reservation but was unable to online .
On the email received 2/28 under hotel, it said to cancel by 3/17 without penalty. I cancelled last night to avoid the penalty .
I called early this morning 3/17 to speak to someone to clear up the misunderstanding and was told that the travel docs possibly would come in today and i should not have cancelled .
Unfortunately, I did and was not aware of the repercussions. I thought that I could easily rebook and ask them to send me my travel documents and boarding pass so that I could still travel 3/20- 3/23 as planned .
I took the week off of work, my bags are packed and I am ready to go.
I was told that after paying a total of 2011.72 for two passengers : Irene nunez & Vincent galicia basically that I lost my vacation and could no longer travel . I was told that now we have only $245 credit combined for both people .
I was told that the hotel and airlines have penalties . I contacted the hotel and they said the penalties are only through cheap carribean.
I am now completely out of a vacation where we were going to renew our vows, we also got married at Cabo San Lucas riu palace.
I was freaking out and cancelled when I should not have, thinking that as the email said, no penalty if cancelled before 3/17.
My husband Vincent and i are still available to travel on these dates . I need help .
Please .
I cannot afford to lose the 2,000 that was paid .
It doesnt seem fair that the only credit we get is $123 a person, based on a misunderstanding.
I spoke to someone named anna who was very kind and helpful, and she said that she contacted the hotel to see if they could waive the fees .
I can still go on my vacation. I can still renew my vows in cabo next week, if you are able to somehow reinstate my package .
I can pay extra fees if needed, I just dont want to lose my package.
Please help me . I thank you in advance for any help and guidance

Locks on doors would not work amstar would not work with us on a time back we had to pay a taxi to get back to airport all 10 of us got food poisoning we went for a 30 th birthday celebration n surprise engagement been there before and it was good but this was the biggest waste of money the worst trip ever very disappointing also very rude amstar lady I believe we should get some kind of compensation. Lots of money for a horrible trip
